Consistent 4th Day setup without wrong warp
1Greetings, YouTubers. This is Nicholas Armstrong, also known as NicholasDaisy Awesomeness. A little while back, I found a consistent setup for the 4th day glitch without the wrong warp that works 99.999999% of the time if not 100% of the time if done properly in The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D. All of these steps are important. I actually messed up the timing while trying to dupe over a bottle when I first started the timer but I saved the game at the statue just before 7 AM. It works most consistently when it’s between 6:10 AM and 6:59 AM in-game when you save.
Step 1. But normal bottle on Y, Gibdo Mask on X, Fire Arrows on I and Bunny Hood on II
Step 2. Dupe over Gibdo mask
Step 3. Save the game immediately and then quit
Step 4. Launch game (without update) and start timer quickly when launching. Works on Citra emulator, however, less consistent. If you start the timer too late, check the offset to ensure you get the right frame to use the Gibdo bottle
Step 5. Use fire arrows (30) to melt ice to grotto (must have enough magic)
Step 6. Wait for the timer to reach approximately 1:18:00.00. If it’s slightly after this it may work, but if way too late or way too early it will cause 4th day with wrong warp, 0th day, or immediate moon crashing cutscene.
Step 7. When the timer reaches 1:18:00.00, mash the X button
Step 8. You should see a negative value in Dawn of the Second Day. This is Night of the 4th day. Try to open the Ocarina as quickly as you can.
Step 9. Play the Inverted Song of Time
Step 10. Warp to South Clock Town and release Hot Spring Water from duped Gibdo bottle
Step 11. (Optional) Release fairy in normal bottle
Step 12. Safety save
Step 13. Play Song of Double Time and scroll all the way to 5 AM
Step 14. Go to Termina Field and wait for Dawn of a New Day. Do not stay in Clock Town. The wrong warp version of the 4th day glitch can cause a crash in certain areas instead of a wrong warp due to a floating point exception. It can still crash even if you have the normal 4th day glitch, on rare occasions, which is likely an overloading issue.
Step 15. After it loads Termina Field normally, you have the 4th day glitch
Tip: Look at the sky to see if the moon is small and really high up. If it’s in the 2nd day position and there are NPCs in clock town, you got the 0th day.
