Developed and published by Codemasters, Micro Machines is a top down racing game and is the first video game iteration of the popular Galoob (Hasbro/Wicked Cool Toys/Jazwares) line of micro toy cars first released in 1987.

This video game adaption of the toy line first releasing in 1991 for the NES. Micro Machines would be ported two years later to the Sega Genesis and Sega Master System with releases for the SNES and CD-i in 1994.
