Console Sports Games of 1994 - ESPN Baseball Tonight
The first of several games to use the ESPN license in 1994 was ESPN Baseball Tonight, which was released in the United States for the Sega Genesis, Sega CD, and SNES.
ESPN Baseball Tonight, while licensed and using real team names such as the Chicago Cubs, New York Mets, Texas Rangers, Baltimore Orioles, and New York Yankees, does not feature any real-world players.
ESPN Baseball Tonight was developed by Park Place Productions, one of the first developers to use the ESPN license, with three games developed using it in 1994.
