Super Godzilla, known as Chō Godzilla for its Japanese release, is a strategy tactical fighting game developed by the soon-to-be-defunct Advance Communication Company and published by Toho for the SNES. Super Godzilla was first released in Japan in 1993, with a US and Canadian release following in 1994.

The gameplay of Super Godzilla is divided into two parts. Firstly, there's movement, where the player controls Godzilla navigating a small map at the bottom of the screen. The objective is to avoid buildings that slow down Godzilla while also targeting specific buildings for destruction, as well as encountering enemies, both human and non-human, and collecting pickups scattered around the map. The results of these actions are shown in the upper part of the screen.

During combat against other Kaiju, the player can utilize punches, tail whips, and Godzilla's famous fire breath. The effectiveness of these attacks is situation-dependent, so choosing the right move at the right time is crucial. Making incorrect choices can result in Godzilla losing energy and becoming more susceptible to enemy attacks.
