65Here's another console peasant excuse of not going to PC gaming.
"Consoles will forever be better than PC for this reason, no tinkering."
Yeah, you are not required to tinker your PC hardware if you just buy pre-build PCs or gaming laptops. I actually prefer laptops myself because I travel, and I want to have a laptop that is both capable of gaming and work. Thankfully, tinkering gaming laptops aren't that hard. Despite the limitations, you can still upgrade the RAM and the SSD, and those can definitely give better performance or storage depending on your needs.
The one that does definitely need tinkering is Windows 11, but I already discussed that heap of operating spyware in another video. Alternatively, you can install Linux, but Linux is definitely not for everyone, and SteamOS at the time of writing is not perfect yet.
This person cited a Reddit question asking, "How many of us have destroyed our PC tinkering?" Rarely. Almost never. You just really have to be careful with what you're working on.
It's clear that the OP made a mistake so rookie that even amateurs are capable of avoiding. They're aware that they made a mistake by having the power supply turned on all the time as they're tinkering their PC. It's really nothing to be feared, and as the OP said, the OP is a freaking idiot.
