While requiring a bit of practice and dexterity, this is a good route to start with if you're thinking about learning how to speedrun this game. The thing to keep in mind is that if you lose spread shot within the first two levels, you're better off resetting and trying again.

While the spread shot is easily the go to gun in this game, the real trick is learning how to trick the game into narrow the spread by shooting offscreen for a moment before aiming at your target. When you're in a top-down base level, it's easier to obtain this rhythm after shooting low barrels.
