This was my full playthrough unedited on easy mode. This includes all the mistakes while learning the game. I may post a version with unsuccessful continues edited out for a better pace to the video, but this was the full process. Prior to this I played maybe 8 minutes on normal mode and I owned the game years ago but for some reason never completed this mode. Not sure if I tried it on this mode. The only difference between difficulties is how many lives and continues you get. Normal is 3 lives, 3 continues, easy is 9 lives ,99 continues. I may try to refine my playing and beat normal mode next.
This game seemed insanely difficult to me back in 2002, but now it seemed very managable and the patterns were pretty simple to discern. Since then Ive probably beaten another 1000 games and completed many extreme modes in games as well. Something I wasnt doing at the time. Also many arcade games which are extremely dense and difficult, much more so than most console games on average.
