One of the custom changes to these ported CoD maps I’ve been super impressed by is the addition of mantling via the ladder material. Now you can run at any window or small wall and just glide over it without breaking momentum, you can jump and grab ledges, climb dumpsters etc.

With its instant jump reset, no air control, crouch sliding, and no fall damage, movement in Contractors is actually really compelling, and these ported maps show off the potential far better than the stock maps which are rife with invisible walls and simplistic layouts.

It’s not fair to compare the work of a two man indie studio to one of the biggest money makers of the last 15 years, but it’s fair to say adding mod support was a good idea, and getting that mod support onto the quest platform is critical!
