CONTROL || i7 5775C + Iris Pro 6200 iGPU BENCHMARK
4Hi everyone. A hero of this recording is i7 5775C launch in 2015 year. This is one of the strongest 4c/8t cpus which included interesting solutions like 128 MB eDRAM memory (L4 cache), and power full igpu which is Iris Pro 6200. In new series of videos, I want to focus on performance of this igpu in some new and old titles.
This video shows game "Control" a action-adventure game developed by Remedy Entertainment and published by 505 Games. The game was released in August 2019. Game overall runs great on low settings. There are no graphics glitches (they occur on higher graphics settings). Some combination of lighting and glass surfaces can strongly lower fps counter (can see in 17:10).
On full screen with 1080p resolution with 720p resolution scale we have nearly 30 FPS. A sweet spot in render resolution is 960x540 occurring in borderless mode. In this resolution we can have over 30 FPS with reasonable video quality. 640x480 resolution is lowest to set. With this setting we can have 50+ FPS but with overall low video quality (loock better in windowed mode).
To record clips, I use FRAPS. Recording proces reduced the number of frames by about 3 FPS.
