Control revolves around the titular Federal Bureau of Control (FBC), a clandestine U.S. government agency which investigates supernatural Altered World Events (AWEs). ... Control takes place entirely within the Oldest House, a Brutalist skyscraper in New York City which is the headquarters of the FBC.

We play as protagnist Jesse Faden, and the setting of the Oldest House, which is just as rich and compelling as a human being. We navigate the Oldest House to further Jesse’s story, learning about her past as well as the past of the institution she works to rescue.

The Board appoints Jesse the new Director of the FBC, allowing her to use the Service Weapon with her immense psychic powers.

Story missions are mainly based on explaining the story of Jesse Faden and her search for her brother, Dylan. Control takes place entirely in one building - The Oldest House. After entering it, you will spend the entire game in that place.
