Context of Cutscene: π
Dark Cacao Cookie got a letter from an anonymous cookie, telling him that they saw his son (Dark Choco Cookie) being swayed away and back somewhere in Beast-Yeast.
Desperate to see his son again, Dark Cacao let his dedication to be a better father for Dark Choco caused him to blindly listen to what's written in the letter. Unfortunately it was in fact a trick.
Now face-to-face with Dark Enchantress Cookie and to the extent Affogato Cookie as well, Dark Cacao Cookie tries to fight them off. But noticing how soft he's getting, this prompted Affogato to successfully catch the wintery king.
Although despite Dark Cacao Cookie not telling about his whereabouts to the other Ancients (plus Gingerbrave, Pitaya Dragon Cookie, Clotted Cream Cookie, etc) Pure Vanilla Cookie managed to figure out where he was. Thankfully coming to the younger king's aid right on time.
