"My only other thought is that for me I would recommend starting cooking before starting gathering. Since grain soup is a Godsend in early gathering where the speed would make Ghandi want to scream! (LOL) Keeping 20 or so on hand makes what at first is a very tedious process allot easier."

**ABOUT THIS GUIDE**

This guide is for new players, beginners that just started Black Desert Online (BDO). It aims to help new players set up their first Residence and to install cooking utensils so they may begin cooking. The tutorial takes new players into a step by step guide, guiding them through each interface allowing them to follow and begin the process of cooking. This guide also covers the purchasing process of ingredients, understanding those that can be purchase from NPC to others that must be gathered or purchased from market place. Finally, the guide also covers how to batch cook multiple sessions as well as explaining how leveling up the skill profession can contribute to your cooking results. It also teaches new players how they can use the remaining "additional" products gained from cooking to earn more Contribution Points, Silver, Cooking EXP and more.
