Here is the video of a basic beat'em up game demo created in Coppercube using assets from a Unity Game Template of the same genre.
The project consists of 2 Custom main behaviors for the Player and AI, The rest has been done with default behaviors and extensions.
The gameplay consists of a good player controller, that allows you to attack, walk and run. Animations are time-based, and hit calculation is proximity and animation-based so, there is no real collision detection so there might be a chance of missing a hit.
A basic health pickup has also been included.
AI is okay, it will randomly choose the attack type or idle stance.

The main thing is the behavior, you can easily create your own Beat'em up game based using the behaviors and can further modify it according to your needs, almost every line of code is commented in the behavior.

Even with the current behavior, you can create a good game. It allows you to have a specific AI name, Auto updation of health-bar and UI, Specific damage according to the attack type, additional health property, distance of fighting, activation radius for the AI, chasing distance for the AI, and many more properties to easily set up the game.
