My visual cue to set this up is to pause buffer until your arm cannon is close to but overlapping the brown tank. When you are at this point, release forward to skid for EXACTLY one frame. Done correctly there will be just one echo a few pixels behind Samus. Pause, unpause and input jump on the first possible frame and pause immediately. Done correctly, Samus will be in her upright position in the air and will have a speedboost again. Unpause holding both jump and forward, shooting diagonally downward at the door as you approach it. The setup at the start allows you to do a full jump into the door and be able to store the shinespark without buffering and there are two frames that you might need to hold down. The first is during the door transition, where you will see Samus in her running animation right before the transition (as shown in the video).
