XBOX theoretical optimal strat
0This is about a second faster than the strat I currently use, which is about a second faster than the standard strat. This is honestly not something I would try in a run, due to how precise you must be to get all 4 diagonals.
Rundown:
1. Enter the room and morph as you run off the first ledge to lay a pbomb
2. Roll off the ledge and unmorph, falling straight down instead of holding right. The speed that you approach XBOX determines how XBOX will move through the room
3. Hold a charge and pseudo-screw XBOX, jumping at the first lump on the ground and following up with 3 missiles.
4. Jump to the right of XBOX, shoot the missiles down and shoot 3 missiles diagonally at XBOX.
5. Let go of the ceiling to make XBOX jump away from you.
6. Shoot a missile diagonally down after XBOX lands. You do not need to grab the ceiling to do this, but if you do, let go before XBOX jumps again.
7. Wait for XBOX to ram into the left wall (the speed at which you pseudo-screw XBOX determines whether or not he will hit the wall; later is better than earlier)
8. Grab onto the ceiling again and shoot 4 missiles down for the kill.
