Five toy Cosmos moving across the playfield towards the player in an effort to drag Energy Boxes back to their spaceship.

Players are given a fixed ray gun that shoots beams of light (similar to a laser pointer) and must shoot the light sensors on their bodies to drive them back before they manage to steal one of the Energy Boxes.
If successful in fending back three waves of Cosmos, they themselves perform a little dance for the player. But the game also ends when one of them manages to steal the energy.

The game has two buttons to select difficulty: Easy will play two stages with regual speed. Hard is composed by three stages and the Cosmos will move much faster and will try to trick the player with sudden moves.

Cosmo Gang supports two players co-op multiplayer, both players will shot with guns try to accumulate a high number of hits together.
