With 2012 in its final month, it's time to try something a little different. Every day for the next 30 days, a new video will preview a potential playthrough that could be made in the upcoming year. While I don't do requests, interest in any of these videos may make a full playthrough a reality, and some I plan to do for sure next year.

The entry for December 31, and the last entry for the year, is Sonic 3 & Knuckles for the Sega Genesis.

Sonic 3 & Knuckles is actually the combination of two games, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Sonic & Knuckles, to make one large story. A special lock-on port is placed on the Sonic & Knuckles cartridge which allows any Genesis game to be placed on the top similar to the Game Genie item. However, this software only works with Sonic 3 and Sonic 2, the former creating a larger game and the latter allowing Knuckles into a game he previously wasn't in.
