As I was testing CS2, I noticed that my framerate would dip significantly mid-gunfight. Upon closer look, I theorize that the first-person (on-screen) blood splatter causes significant FPS dips when getting dinked/body-shotted, and gooshed.

While my informal test cannot be considered conclusive, I would like to bring more awareness to this topic and hopefully see other CS2 players test their framerate in these instances. At the end of the day, it can just be a system issue though something tells me it is a general bug within CS2.

Test Limitations:
The in-game scenario had multiple people on screen with various things happening around the map.
The offline testing consisted of a bot shooting at me through the mimic +health regeneration command. So it might not fully represent player-on-player gun fights.

System Specs:
Gtx 1050ti
Ryzen 5 3600
2x8 2400mhz RAM
