Counter-Strike Beta 5.2...

Released on Jan 10, 2000... This is the earliest CS beta i have (also beta 6.1)that is playable with bots at least, will try to find any active servers online hopefully...

On this version, there were still weapons not available til CS beta 6.0 like mac10, Steyr Aug... Smoke grenades was still absent and came out in Beta 6.5... SG-552 Commando was not a Terro exclusive weapon and can be bought by CTs too... and SG-552 & M4A1 Carbine can hold til 200 bullets! The SSG552 zoom looks closer too... M4A1 & USP silencer still can't be removed and its optional already in Beta 6.5... Deagle & AWP one shot has different sounds and the recoil is bad...

This was the last version where you can't switch from left handed to right handed weapons coz there was still no options or command console for it until Beta 6.0... im not used to play really in left handed weapons feels akward for me...

Models looks weird and funny, specially the walking and dying animations... and noticed why all Terro carry b0mbs on their back but only one has the legit pack...lol 🤣 Terro has only 2 models: Urban Camo & Middle Eastern (later changed name to Phoenix Connection & L337 Krew) while the CT has 3 and GIGN still not present...

I really can't remember what beta version i started, its either 4.0 or 5.0/5.2... but i remember my very 1st map i played was de_dust that came out 1st in beta 4.0... before don't know how to buy weapons here (shame really 🤣) coz i used to be in Half-Life deathmatch that u only pick up weapons...

Glad i can still play this very old classic CS til now...😊🤘
