Crafting Spells in this Metroidvania | RIN: The Last Child Demo
2Hello everyone! And here we are with yet another demo, this time is the turn for Rin: The Last Child, a really interesting metroidvania where you are crafting your spells and later on you can enchant them with new abilities. For how it looked like, I am guessing that you will be able to craft at least 7 spells, and you will have to pick 3 or 4 to use, so that is a pretty interesting feature to me.
What I didn't like was the movement, which wasn't that bad, but it didn't feel smooth; and also the mana management. It feels it drains too fast while shooting enemies. I think you should have more, or you should have a better way to manage it or recover it, because sometimes it can be pain to fight multiple enemies (you have to shoot, run away, recover a little bit to shoot 3 more times and repeat).
