Crash Bandicoot 1 (N-Sane Trilogy) - Level 2: Jungle Rollers (No Gem)
Crash is now deep into the jungle he started going through in the second half of N. Sanity Beach. The N-Sane Trilogy makes it a lot more lush, such as making the skunks look more like skunks instead of skunk-shaped slippers.
The Tawna bonuses return, and all of Crash 1's bonuses have gotten a very healthy upgrade in N-Sane Trilogy. After getting the third of one type of token, they activate a nearby teleporter to the corresponding bonus instead of going straight to the bonus right then and there. Even if you fall out of the Bonus without completing it, you can keep trying it again as many times as you want until you beat it.
Tawna bonuses are no longer used for saving your progress, but the main reason for this upgrade is because all of Crash 1's bonuses' crates count towards the full total of crates you have to break in the whole level you found the bonuses in. Crash 1's bonuses in N-Sane Trilogy now pretty much function like gimped versions of Crash 2 & 3's Bonuses, because you also have to bid yourself to get more Wumpa Fruit and 1-UPs out of them, too.
These new rules also apply to the Brio and Cortex Bonus. So you'll be pretty busy in levels that have one of those two plus the Tawna Bonus.
1:18 - Dammit! I went too low, there! At least I still got my 1-UP AND a mask to save me!
