Right after getting the Gem of this level, I go for the Relic.

Like the last time I went through a Time Trial in a Jet Ski level, this one took me quite a while to pull off a Platinum. You're likely going to be spending more time figuring out just the right timing to dodge all of those bombs or muscle through them with an Aku Aku mask.

However, once you've hit the Time Crates at 2:22, as long as you don't hit any bombs or Nitros, you will be golden for the rest of the Time Trial, as the chain into all of the rest of the Time Crates you'll encounter from there without letting the time unfreeze for even a millisecond.
