Crash Bandicoot 4: WoC - Part 02 - Arctic Antics - 1st Visit - Boxes Gem + Death Route Blue Gem
Crystals: 1/25
Gems: 2/46 (1 Broken Boxes, 0 Secret Routes, 1 Blue)
---------------
OK. A little bit of background information for those of you who have not played this game before.
(Purple) Crystals: Crystals are the most important item in the game. There's one "hidden" in every level, except for the boss levels. You will need all twenty-five crystals to beat the game.
Wumpa Fruit: Yeah. Those aren't peaches. And doesn't "peach cannon" sound much better than "wumpa cannon"?
Gems: There are two types of gems. Clear gems are your reward for breaking all of the boxes in a level, or completing a "secret area." Colored gems are your reward for finishing a death route. Colored gems also act as platforms in other levels, so you can get to those "secret areas."
Relics: You can win relics by re-entering the level after collecting the (purple) crystal. You will see a golden stopwatch once you re-enter the level. Collect the stopwatch to begin the time trial. For every five relics you earn, a "secret" level will become available. You will need to complete these secret levels in order to finish the game at 100%.

0:20 Rok-ko, the Earth Elemental
1:37 Steel crates cannot be broke with spin attacks or jumps. You need to do a belly-flop.
1:42 Collecting Aku Aku three times will grant you temporary invincibility, much like the "star" power-up in Super Mario.
1:51 Anything you touch will be destroyed, including boxes. I destroyed those boxes to show you a trick. In case you destroy a box you need (to reach another box), you may still be able to reach it by doing a "high jump/belly flop" (X + O buttons).
3:19 Am I the only one who thinks the bonus music sounds like the music from "Good Eats" on the TV Food Network?
4:19 Nitro Switch Box - hitting this switch will detonate every nitro crate in the level. Very important because nitro crates count toward your final "box" tally.
4:39 The "death route" platform. The "death route" platform only appears if you reach the location it spawns without dying beforehand. If you do die beforehand, you will see a green wireframe of the platform instead. The deathroute is usually extremely difficult to navigate through, but always has a reward at the end if you are lucky enough to complete it. And trust me, with the loading times, every chance you get MATTERS.
5:16 Normally there are nitro crates mixed in with normal boxes placed between the pillars. The idea is to avoid the nitro crate while landing on the standard box so you can bounce to the other pillar. It is possible to get to the other pillars using your slide jump. This helps because you can get the clear gem and the blue gem in this stage in a single run!
6:03 I actually re-do the death route to show you guys what it looks like when the nitro switch box isn't activated.
6:37 Looked like a clean jump to me, but oh well. Looking for your shadow is the best way to attempt risky jumps.
