So, after dealing with Crunch and his last Elemental mask, we can move onto the last zone of the game which I guess is us going after Cortex? Most of the levels don’t really give us any hint to as why we are doing them expect that there is a crystal for us to collect there and I don’t think we even got an explanation/cut-scene after beating the last Elemental mask. Not sure if it was a bug or if I didn’t complete enough of that zone to get the cut-scene; I guess I was expecting something to happen after beating him since that was the last elemental mask in the game left to beat so I thought they might have something to say about it, even if it was just like “We should head back to our base and try to regain our strength” or something like that (This is why I don’t make games Kappa). Regardless of that, we still have a Volcano to climb up as well some Gold mines to explore in. Speaking of those mines, I do want to mention their use of mine carts since this is the first/last time we’ll see it used like this (before, it was a on rail event where we moved left and right to avoid crates but this time we get to actually move it). For the most part, I thought cart was actually a lot of fun to control and like that they had an attack while driving it (Having Crash Kick his legs in the air while still driving it); it was a nice touch that I would’ve liked to have played around with more often with.
