So, after breaking into the Apartment of a Janitor and having one of the most relaxing conversation with him, we then head home after a busy day’s work to find out that a particular group of people are trying to come back into the game. We get woken up by Jimmy, Michael’s son, who essentially gives us a pep talk that is going to motivate us to get the Family back together. Now, as I’ve said for a while, I wanted to complain about this event but I never got to in the video since they talked to so much; What I’m saying, is that this is probably going to have spoilers so, you’ve been warned. Alright, my biggest problem with this entire situation is that they left us because Michael was sleeping with other people, killing people and being so aggressive towards his family and himself. That all being said, most of those allegations are totally not true since we barely see any of it; He does kill people in the missions, he does randomly yell at people and breaks some of the items but he is apologetic about it immediately afterwards so he isn’t this horrible person they say he is. If they wanted to use this excuse, then they could’ve shown it in the transitions between characters (maybe there’s a prostitute on his bed or maybe we see him leaving from an argument with his family). From what we saw, they just got angry and left us in one of the most ironic ways ever; the fact that Jimmy drugged us then blamed everything on Michael and gets away with it all is baffling to me. On top of it all, during this whole mission, they keep mentioning about how “it’s so cool that you’re using your powers of Selfishness and Rage for Good”. It confuses me a lot because they left because we were aggressive and rude but then return even though I’m exactly the same. Let’s not forget that Michael is slowly becoming a Movie Producer so that might’ve swayed them. Either way, this whole affair is a little weird to me; GTA is known for its satire on Society so maybe there is a message that I’m missing or just not getting.
