Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex Part 13: Underwater Woes
So, after dealing with that awful Flying-Coco mission combo, we had started to explore yet another underwater level which took me some time to complete. With these missions, as you’ve no doubt seen, I like to take them relatively slowly because there are so much going on at any given time but you don’t see all of it (For example, trying to figure out where the mines are or having small fish dart on the screen and instantly killing You–Totally not venting here or anything). On top of all the moving obstacles in the level, the underwater levels seem to have the most amount of nitro boxes out of every kind of level which means that one wrong move/being out of position could mean that I get blown up. It’s also rather difficult trying to get through the level by swapping between the submarine and swimming because both methods of movement are so vastly different from one another so trying to comfortably move between those two takes time/skill that I lack. The hit boxes are also a little wonky at times (when you think you killed something but it didn’t actually connect) which doesn’t help all too much trying to complete the level.
