It's funny, accepting that I wasn't going to hit my original goal of finishing Wrath of Cortex before Thanksgiving was a load off my shoulders. I still managed to make a lot of progress tonight, even if I didn't manage to go all the way. 19 time trials and the two remaining gems out of the standard levels is progress I'm not willing to scoff at, honestly. KI seems to admit that the next session should be my last, because I'll either get all the gems... or decide that the secret snowboard level just isn't worth it and just call it quits there.

I think the most surprising thing about this session is just *where* I got stuck. Some of the levels that were time-consuming didn't end up being the ones I'd consider the most difficult overall. And honestly, I probably could've pared down the time trials to just one, had I kept going... but I was honestly just feeling tired after essentially replaying 21 levels this time. Hopefully, those last two time trials won't eat up too much time on Sunday.

None of my usual crowd showed up this time, but this was essentially a "filler" stream, considering I didn't tackle any new content, so it doesn't bug me. Honestly, one of my favorite aspects about streaming random older games is that it leads new people to discover my channel and gush about just how much they love whatever I'm currently playing. It's always interesting to hear from long-time fans, especially when it's something I either missed out on or just outright ignored when it was new. It's almost like, their excitement makes me a little more excited... as weird as that might sound.
