After taking Thursday off, I'm finally on my last bonus game of 2022. While I've clearly gone into overtime again, I guess I'm not too bothered. After all, that feeling that I had absolutely no free time kind of evaporated once I finished that initial run of Back the Log Off, so I've still got lots of time to mess around with games in my free time. I guess I was just hoping I'd be able to focus on my own stuff exclusively for the final month of the year. Oh well.

Reventure was an odd choice, because I generally stick to games with a linear progression when it comes to streaming. You know, games with an obvious beginning, middle and end to them. But Reventure is built more like a roguelite with several possible endings, most of which coming from dying in specific ways. So determining how to "beat" the game was always called into question. At least when it came to Clock Tower, there was a clear distinction between "dead ends" and legitimately completing the game's story.

I honestly didn't know how to approach this game, especially since I was essentially going in blind. And by the end of the stream, I was still confused about whether this would be a one-off or if I would be doing multiple sessions. But after doing a little more research and talking it out with KI, I've decided to press on with an actual objective: getting the 100th ending... which requires collecting the first 99 endings to unlock. Having said that, there *is* also a post-game, but I'll be ignoring it for the purposes of this livestream. Considering I managed to knock out 40 endings my first time, I think it'll probably take me two more sessions to get to #100... which means this may be the furthest I've gone beyond my Thanksgiving deadline.

I just hope someone ends up appreciating this. Even my usual crowd seemed to be pretty dead while streaming... and as much as I enjoyed it, it's not fun enough to carry me through a solo run the way streaming the first two Yakuza games in the past did.
