A new Crash Bandicoot online multiplayer game is on the way. The 4v4 team-based Crash Team Rumble launches on PS5 and PS4, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. The game, which supports cross-platform play, will arrive in 2023.
In the game, you team up with three other players to bank fruits into your drop-off zone while trying to defend the opposing team’s goal. You can play in various arenas and choose from heroes like Crash and Tawna Bandicoot or villains Doctor Neo Cortex and Dingodile (among others). Each character has a distinct power, personality and playstyle.
Crash Team Rumble is an upcoming team-based action video game published by Activision and developed by Toys for Bob. It is currently scheduled for release in 2023 and will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
The game is a team-based, 4v4 action game where each team must capture more Wumpa Fruit for their Wumpa Bank than the other and capture key points around the map. Each character has their own unique abilities and skills to use against the opposing team.

The unnamed bat-cat character had a cameo appearance in a 100% epilogue illustration from Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, focused on Coco Bandicoot. Notably, the art depicts the character's right ear with earring piercings and a notch instead, as well as a different belt buckle and no visible fangs.
Prior to the announcement of Crash Team Rumble, the game was called "Wumpa League".
