Crashday can be considered a modern-day version of a smash hit from years back, which is suggested by the creators themselves (Moonbyte), who have asked the following rhetorical question: "Do you remember Stunts?" In Stunts, the player was given an opportunity to race others in cars, on tracks filled with different obstacles, jumps, etc. Crashday offers an experience of the same kind, which has been enriched with technical advancements of the recent years, such as modern-day 3D graphics or realistic driving physics and car damage system. Also, the game borrows elements from another big title, that is, Carmageddon – the player makes use of an entire set of gadgets and weapons that make the opponents' lives more difficult. Crashday offers a series of diverse tracks filled with obstacles, tunnels and traps, twelve different cars and five opponents (each has three individual personality traits).
