Good idea in Starsector: reclaiming your lost homeworld. Bad idea: peacing out right after and assuming everything is okay. So MAYYYYBE we've been gone from home for just a little too long, because it looks like the Pathers decided to pass around the kool aid and now our stability is wrecked and things keep shutting down. Time to be an adult. Time to shout "get off my lawn and turn that noise down." Time to call the fuzz? Wait, no, we're the law. Work hard enough to beat the man and eventually you'll be the man.

Starsector is a very moddable game, and if you are familiar with the game there are always mods available to take your game further.
