All I wanted to do in Wartales was start making the trade trek from Vertruse all the way down to Arthes. Unfortunately, the local hyper aggressive bandit squads have other ideas. Do they not know who we are? Do they not see how we're equipped? Where is my Earthbound "I Win" auto resolution. Honestly, as much as I like the combat maybe Wartales could use an Age of Wonders style "Resolve this Fight" button.

Wartales has DNA from a lot of other games, including Battle Brothers, Kenshi, and Mount and Blade. It's well worth the price right now and I'm excited to see where this game goes towards release. Intimated as hell, yes.
