5This game was released for IBM Personal Computers and compatibles running MS-DOS.
This fun game is incredibly well polished, and runs really well on some very old emulated hardware. In this case we were emulating a 10MHz 286, in Dosbox this equates to 400 cycles, and emulating CGA, not EGA or VGA with CGA compatibility mode. Some games were able to take advantage of palette switching in the CGA mode, which the later video cards did not emulate so well.
Sounds are through the PC speaker, and sampled, so back in the day that was amazing, as before the best the pc's were capable of was beeps and screetched.
