Cool word search game show from the Goodson-Todman archives. The big board of 4 rows of 14 letters is shown then disappears (to dissuade memorizing the board) for a short time. Players in the 70s version were split into 2 teams of two, with one turned away only to face front when the first contestant found the row, then the other found the column and said the answer to the clue the host read. The winning team would play against each other for the next round, then the survivor faced the previous champ for a chance at at least $5,000 in the bonus game, which was a great race against the clock to find 10 words on a board that the host read clues to. The 1989 version had a more sound set of rules IMHO, and both had a great theme song. Interesting little show that with tweaks might be fun to revive today. Hosts: Jack Narz (Tom Kennedy's older brother) and Chuck Henry (L.A. area newsman). Thanks for watching, and I hope you have a great weekend!
