00:20 Google Merchant Center is a complementary tool to AdWords. Google Merchant Center is a tool that helps you upload your store and product data to Google and make it available to Google Shopping and other Google services.
00:30 With Google Shopping, you can attract buyers to your online store and reach them while doing searches on Google.
00:36 By linking your Google AdWords and Merchant Center accounts, you can display their products directly to users through a Shopping Campaign.
00:42 But, before you do this you must create a Merchant Center Account.
00:47 To create your account, visit this link www.google.com/merchants
00:52 Click ‘Sign Up’ and follow these steps:
00:56 Provide the information about your business by clicking on the right side in the "General" tab and selecting " Settings.”
01:04 You will include information such as name and address of your shop and contact information such as phone and email.
01:13 To add the URL your website, start typing http: // or https: // and include the full name of your domain/ You will have to confirm and verify the URL of your site.
01: 25 On the General tab of the "Settings" section of your account Merchant Center, click "Check this URL" after you enter and save the domain.
01:33 You will be redirected to the Google Webmaster Tools, where you will see various methods of verification for the domain.
01:40 You can choose any method suggested, but a great option is to select "Alternative Methods" and check your URL via the Google Analytics code.
01:50 After that, you'll see the claim status and check the site. When available, Click I claim this website to claim the URL.
01:58 Click Save Changes to confirm the changes. The messages "Verified" and "Claimed" should appear below the URL.
02:06 So, now you have a Merchant Center account. The next thing you’ll need is a list of all of your items, with information like their price, a photo and descriptions. We call this a Data Feed. This is a file that you need to create, and, upload to your Merchant Center account that will connect AdWords to your products!
