Create Arcane Engineering Stream 23 - Goblin augments machines, learns new spells & active progress!
0Our goblin once again awakens, only to find themselves in a realm devoid of the accursed void, and in a landscape of lush beauty, magic and creations beyond the goblins wildest dreams. This reality brings new challenges, new limits to explore, and much more development to explore! Will our goblin thrive in this new world? Lets find out!
For this stream, I was a bit over the place, but overall in no particular order I did the following; First, I modified the rune production machine to be significantly more efficient. Namely, I used hoppers to give it a buffer for items and brass funnels to drop said resources into those hoppers. This way, I can hold 10 stacks of Rune Dust and 5 stacks of Violet Crystals at any given time. Following that, I also introduced a container to store excess lava for the machine if any was present to keep the machine heated. The power of dripstone is truly lovely for such machines! Following that, I unlocked a ton of spells. While I did not use a lot of them, I did make one new useful spell, and that was a Felling spell, that destroys trees instantly with a single cast. This will make felling trees much faster, and compared to carrying around a saw combined with a crank, this just takes out the middle man for some mana. I did try to find a winning combination for dealing with grass, but sadly such a thing might not be possible unless I do some research on my part. Perhaps its something I can work towards in the future! Although, I do plan to take advantage of a different spell for terraforming. I am certain it will be much more efficient for mining as well. Finally, we decided to clear up a bundle of quests I opted to leave on the backlogs, upgrading to chapter two on our quest list. Next stream, I will be working those runes into our bags so that way we can store way more materials in said bags, and possibly testing the extent of power using our new magic abilities. Mainly to test how convenient such magic will be! All this and more shall be discovered next stream!
