Using visual effects and editing it is possible to give 2D images a 3D appearance. This can be done using the parallax effect primarily, where different layers of the same photo are created and then masked. A camera is added to the scene and moved slightly to give the viewer the impression of movement. Other effects were also added to each image, such as flares, blurs, and stylization to create a look that felt alive. I was practicing this technique and these are my initial results.
