Hey Everyone! Welcome back to another episode of our Franchise, Ottawa Zoo. With the new Eurasian Animal DLC I felt it was time to build a new habitat for the Wolverine! Of course, thanks to all the suggestions on what should go in this area, by far the idea of a Wolverine Habitat is my favorite.

The wolverine (Gulo gulo) is a resilient and elusive carnivorous mammal known for its robust build, sharp claws, and distinctive dark brown fur with a light-colored stripe on its sides. Resembling a small bear, wolverines are found in the northern regions of North America, Europe, and Asia, inhabiting remote and harsh environments such as tundra, boreal forests, and mountainous terrain. Known for their tenacity, wolverines are skilled scavengers and opportunistic hunters, feeding on a variety of prey, including small mammals and carrion. Despite their relatively small size, wolverines are powerful and known for their ability to take on much larger animals. They have a solitary nature, with vast home ranges, and are equipped with a keen sense of smell to locate food over long distances in their challenging habitats. The wolverine's existence is marked by adaptability to extreme conditions and a reputation as a fierce and formidable survivor in the wild.
