Surprise, surprise! Something different for a change. A lot of people were curious about my workflow, so I decided to make speedmodeling timelapses in addition to my animations. You can check out my Patreon for even more exclusive behind-the-scenes content and more if you are interested: https://www.patreon.com/Lupucs

Special thanks to @inesp_3d for helping me figure out how to make decent timelapses. Check out their channel if you enjoy this sort of content: https://www.youtube.com/@inesp_3d

Anyways, rambling aside. This video is a complete timelapse of how I modeled, shaded and rigged a stylized Spamton from the game Deltarune in Blender 3.3. It's just speedmodeling rather than a complete, in-depth tutorial, with some earthboundy textbox commentary peppered in here and there, which I hope you guys find entertaining and insightful. May I also present to you my goblin sona as a special premiere! They will be appearing in all future timelapse videos, which I am happy to share with you guys once they are done.

This is a completely different format than what I usually post, so I am hoping you guys like it! Don't worry, I am going to upload more animations soon in addition to these. I'm definitely a lot rustier at editing than animating but these long-form timelapse videos are a fun change of pace. I am also planning to upload a timelapse of how I made Dark World Noelle and Berdly. Hope you guys enjoy this new type of content!

Also on another note: Oh my goodness, a 100k subs? This is incredible. I am so humbled, I don't even know what to say. Just, thank you so much! I am grateful for all of you. I will have to come up with something special to celebrate! 🎉

Programs used: Blender 3.3

Disclaimer: This isn't an industry-standard workflow. This is how I work on my personal stuff, so some practices here might not be ideal in a production pipeline.

The character Spamton is from the rpg game Deltarune by Toby Fox. This model is a fanmade one made by myself. If you enjoy this character, you should go support Toby and the rest of the team. Play the game here: https://deltarune.com/
