Creationist Canards 3: The Ballad of Bill
22What we have here private, is failure... to communicate. Some men, you just can't reach. I tried with Bill, I really did. But at some point, you have to do something different in order to try and make your argument. The limited sort of conversation I was having with this upstanding Creatard on the Google+ thread linked below wasn't having mush of an effect, and what little progress was made went to shit after I praised him for doing better than the usual Creatard and bringing an article (singular) into the conversation in support of a side claim.
At that point, he whipped out his Gawd, and tried to beat me with a litany of the usual canards. Truth be told, I was coing to do this one as a Shattering Pseudoscience video, when I realized that he didn't actually have any real pseudoscience except a hate for the Medical Community, which he claimed to have been a part of at some point. From there, Crippling Conspiracies was considered, but we were doing just fine up until he whipped out El/Allah/YHWH and claimed that Evolution was a hoax, and that only the supremely ignorant would lend any credence to Science. For those of you who have been following the Ballad of Bill on the original thread, Dumb Comment Hell or Fellatious University, then you're up to speed and in for a treat.

What Wren described as evolution of language is only the barest scratch on the surface, and only covered the evolution of language as we know it. There is a much deeper science about how language evolved as animals arose. We kept it simple for this set of examples, but the evolution of language as a larger whole is utterly fascinating, at least to Wren and I. A few links to get your study on the topic started:
