I was very confused by this game once I started playing. At first I thought maybe there was false advertising, but after reading a non-spoiler review, it appears I have to explore to learn more. Yeah, gl2m on figuring that out.

Released on October 14, 2016, by the developer Blind Bird, Stay Close is an experimental indie horror adventure game where you try to avoid creepy enemies while managing to complete tasks for an NPC. If he deems you "worthy", you can proceed to the next area or task. Quest-based horror isn't totally new, but the fact that the storyline only unfolds as you achieve what's asked of you is relatively uncommon for the horror genre. There is also a co-op mode with apparently a different ending.

This game seems more in-depth than it appeared initially; let's play Stay Close and see what's actually going on.
