The interactive drama-survival horror game, Until Dawn, was released on 25 August 2015 in North America, with releases elsewhere following shortly. Created as a Playstation exclusive (for the PS4), it tells the story of a group of teenagers who meet at an isolated cabin in the woods exactly one year after the disappearance of friends of one of the teens.
Controls are fairly standard for a Playstation game, with movement handled via the left stick, aiming a light/rotating camera angle/selecting an option handled by the right stick. ✕ interacts, ◯ goes back, R2 is pick up/throw/shoot, L1 is walk faster, and R1 shows status & collectibles menu. Additionally, the touch pad is used to turn pages (e.g., of a book).
With many options in dialogue and actions to take, the game has many different outcomes, where some or even all of the teens could live or could die. What will be the fate of this group in *my* playthrough? Let's play Until Dawn and find out.
