This bug or glitch can make the game unplayable, so I show you how to avoid such a pitfall and also a possible solution if this does occur.
This occurs during the final part of The Verchiel March companion side quest when you talk to Sera about the march. Lord Pel Harmond bug/gltich.

If this solution does not work for you, try any of the following:
1. Turn off vertical sync to see if it makes a difference.
2. Bring only Sera along for the mission.
3. Try different dialog choices when in Crestwood.
4. Try lower graphical settings including resolution.

Please note, these are just from some of the comments I have read online and they seemed to have worked for the people who made the comments.
But there is no guarantee they will work for you.

p.s. I only know of this glitch occurring on the PC version. If this happens to you on a different platform, please comment and let me know. Thanks.

Why the text to speech program? Five reasons:
1. Originally my mic wasn't working (motherboard connection problem).
2. I also wished to remain anonymous (what with uploading copyrighted material and all).
3. This method proved to be more convenient
4. It sounds more professional, like those voiceovers in documentaries. Sure it also sounds unnatural sometimes, but it is still the clearest, most human sounding voice out there at the moment.
5. I am currently in a noisy environment where it is sometimes impossible to record a voice commentary without interruptions. So even if I do decide to use my own voice, it will not be anytime soon.
