A much better, more optimised run through the very difficult stage3, scoring 1002oku from an estimated 1200oku (or more).
The chief reason for such a high scoring limit on this stage is the snakes - at over 10,000 Break Rate, using Double Break Laser at x6,4 to to destroy all the segments and then the head (in that order) will cause the whole snake to erupt in a fountain of stars, and a single snake head killed with a x6.4 DBL is worth over 100oku on its own. However, I missed the very first snake to appear (at the big flower) and the last two snakes I didn't DBL quickly enough, losing me hundreds of oku.
An acceptable target for the end of the snake section is 600oku, though the best I've had is 850oku (though promptly failed in the following section). 900oku or more is the upper limit.
The rest of the run is fairly decent, and with these strategies, I'm averaging 850oku on a no-miss run through this stage. Time for stage4 practice.
