Please note that this preview mentions it is a 2-4 player game, but with updates from the publisher, it is now a 2-5 player game. We have played this with 5 players and while adding even more speed, have found it just as fun. A 5 player game means a lot more happening between your actions on your turn and the next, so a lot happens in between turns, but we have enjoyed it this way, even if providing just as fun of, if not a slightly different experience.
Additionally, the factions you share are between you and the player on your left and you and the player on your right. In a 2 player game you only have two factions total on the table and access to both. In a 3 player game, you have 3 Factions on the table but access to 2, in a 4 player, you have 4 on the table and access to 2, and with 5 players, 5 on the table and access to 2.
