About our Minecraft project.

Since CrowPi2 includes a full blown suite of Minecraft goodies, including a 16 part mini-course, we couldn't resist making something ... Minecrafty.

First we used included block printouts to make 10 paper Minecraft blocks.
Then we attached NFC tags to the blocks with sticky tape (so we can reuse the tags in other projects).
Then we used included Python script editor (plus CrowPi2's hardware of course) to assign block identifiers to the NFC tags (e.g. grass tag for grass block etc.).
Then we launched the included Minecraft (Raspberry Pi version) and used RFID reader and another script to read the data from the block.

In this way, we created sort of... 'paper to Minecraft' interface.

Just Place a 'real' block on the RFID reader in the laptop's base and the virtual block will be added to the Minecraft scene!

Of course this is just a fraction of CrowPi2's possibilities. If you are into learning Scratch, Python, Arduino and even Artificial Intelligence in an easy to use environment, you have to give CrowPi2 a closer look - it's definitely the most complete STEAM set out there!

And as far as we are concerned, we will definitely making more project in the future!
