My armies are nicely warmed up from the ongoing independence war though, so they make short work of the populists. But there’s a lot of unhappiness about and before I know it my new ally King Eormenred of Wales asks for my help in an independence war that’s declared against him, and King Ivan of Cyprus decides he’s strong enough to try to take Kallipolis from me and launches another war.
