6The Plague of Justinian rages throughout Italy and is more of a threat to my troops than the armies of the Ostrogoths so I decide to slow down my march through Italy and try to minimise my losses from the disease. I content myself with removing the Ostrogothic Rebels from Beneventum and returning the city to the Empire’s rule.
Back with some Total War: Attila, this time checking out the Nova Attila mod. It’s an overhaul mod that promises improved strategy, improved AI and expanded world, expanded battles and expanded diplomacy amongst other things. The Emperor Justinian has sent an Expeditionary force into North Africa to implement his Renovatio imperii by destroying the Kingdom of the Vandals. It looks like the Romans weren’t expected, so keeping up some early momentum is probably key.
