Plot Summary
New York is under siege from two major threats:
A deadly alien race called the Ceph that is releasing a virus, wiping out the city's population.
The private military corporation CELL (Crynet Enforcement & Local Logistics), which is enforcing martial law to manage the chaos but is also pursuing its own agenda of weaponizing alien technology.
You play as Alcatraz, a Marine who inherits the powerful Nanosuit 2.0 from a former military operative named Prophet. Equipped with this suit, Alcatraz becomes humanity's last hope to stop the Ceph and survive against CELL forces.

Nanosuit 2.0: The suit provides the player with superhuman strength, speed, cloaking ability (invisibility), and a powerful shield. Players can switch between these modes to engage in tactical combat.
