First of all there is no Difficulty set for Mount Vellenge. Here i do Battle with the Source of Miasma, the Meteor Parasite.

Boss: Meteor Parasite
Support Monster: Tentacle ( Black, Red, Blue, Purple )

This Boss has a whopping 450HP! The fight is split into 3 parts that change everytime the Meteor Parasite loses 150HP.

The Meteor Parasite has a few nasty attacks such as a whip lash, Bioga and an Explosion.

Tentacles help the Meteor Parasite with their long range Elemental attacks, depending on their colour depends on their weakness and elemental attack but they're easily killed by physical attacks and are not so bothersome.

Round 1: If you are a Clavat and have a weapon with the Soul Shot Focus Attack you can just stand a fair distance between the Black Tentacle and the Meteor Parasite and just keep hitting him with your Focus Attack. The Tentacle will constantly spit poison at you but will never hit and the Meteor Parasite just sits there taking the hits.
I have Excalibur so my Focus Attack is the Soul Shot.

Round 2: Here, things get more interesting. The Meteor Parasite starts attacking with an Explosion that lights up the ground before impact! you can get into a Routine of Focus Attacks then moving to a different spot. Each time the Meteor Parasite hides he'll shoot lasers at you which hardly ever hit so this is no problem. The Blue Tentacle is more troublesome than the lasers.

Round 3: Final Round gets more Difficult! as soon as you can move the Meteor Parasite uses a nasty attack thats like a Gattling Gun! running to the side keeps you out of its way but id recommend killing the Red Tentacle as he'll be a bother. Again use Focus Attacks on the Meteor Parasite. He'll counter with his Explosion and the Gattling Gun will go off every now and then so dont go in the center of the room.

Everytime the Meteor Parasite hides he'll wait for the Gattling Gun to go off twice before popping out to say hello. Bear in mind that when he comes back out flames will explode all around the Meteor Parasite, this is the equivilent of his Gattling Gun!

Keep up your HP and keep attacking the Meteor Parasite and he will go down easily.
The Battle ends once the Meteor Parasite loses 449HP.
At the end of it all the Meteor Parasite still lives and Miasma is still pouring out from the Meteor.
